Elevate™
Cardiac support device for high-risk medical procedures

PeriCardioScope is a video-guided access system designed to improve precision and safety in pericardial procedures.
By enabling direct visualization, it replaces traditional blind or fluoroscopy-based approaches with a more controlled and reliable method.

Access to the pericardium has remained largely unchanged for decades, relying on techniques that require high levels of skill and carry significant risks.
Procedures are typically performed under fluoroscopic guidance, with complication rates reported between 7% and 30%, including cardiac perforation, liver injury, and tamponade.
Due to these risks and complexities, only a limited number of physicians perform such procedures, restricting patient access to critical treatments.
Our challenge was to improve safety and accessibility while maintaining clinical precision.
We developed PeriCardioScope as a system that enables direct visual access during pericardial procedures.
This approach improves control and accuracy, while reducing reliance on indirect imaging methods. It also supports a wider range of interventions, including ablation procedures, lead management, pericardiocentesis, and targeted drug delivery.
The product was designed for the operating room environment, where clarity and efficiency are essential. Its form is compact and minimal, integrating complex mechanical and electronic systems into a clear and accessible structure.
